How to get Involved

Interested in missions?

There are several ways to get involved in what we do here.

• The first way is prayer support. As you pray for a part of the world God will give you his vision for the nations. We recommend a great book called "Operation World" as a great place to start. It gives detailed information about every nation on earth so that you can start praying for the unreached. We also need people who can commit to praying for us personally.

• The second way is with donations. The Bible teaches that where our treasure is there our heart will be too. Giving to missions is a great way to invest in the Kingdom of God. Karen and i are support 100% by free will gifts and donation from friends and family who love what God is doing here in Costa Rica. If you would like to become part of our support team please contact us.

• Also for those that are wanting to jump into missions we recommend a Discipleship Training School. At our location we offer 4 DTS schools each year but there are also hundreds of other YWAM locations scattered around the globe. Each base focuses their energy on a different area of the globe. Write us for more details at douglas.johnston@ywamsj.org

• YWAM San Jose also offer many short term volunteer opportunities for us to 3 month. We are always looking for people who have a heart to serve. Our missionary facility is run by volunteers and we many opportunities for people with skills in areas like: IT and web design, Accounting, Construction, Tile work and Electricians and auto mechanics and more. If you would like to jump in and get involved please write us today!

We are always looking for people that are interested in serving in missions here in Costa Rica or anywhere in the world for that matter. We would love to talk with you, answer any questions that you have and help you to find a place to minister.

We believe that the call of God to missions is for every believer regardless of race, gender, age, rich or poor, single or married.

Matthew 28:19 says:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

Blessings in Christ Jesus our Lord.
